Request a trade finance reviewApproval, security, issuer acceptance and timing are assessed individually. International enquiries do not establish country coverage.
A standby Letter of Credit (SBLC) can support a payment or performance obligation. The beneficiary may make a demand under the standby’s terms when the specified circumstances arise. It usually serves as a fallback rather than the routine payment method for each shipment.
Provide the underlying contract, requested amount and currency, beneficiary country, expiry and proposed wording. Explain what obligation is being supported and what event could lead to a demand. The issuer and beneficiary must agree acceptable wording and documentary conditions.
MarketDirect.co.za arranges an individual assessment; we do not promise issuance, a specific issuer or acceptance. Confirm the issuer’s identity, security requirements, applicable rules, demand documents, fees and reimbursement obligations in writing. A label such as “SBLC” alone does not establish suitability.
An SBLC does not automatically provide spending money. We do not market leased instruments, monetisation returns or guaranteed investment programmes. If your business also needs working capital, describe that need separately. Fees may be payable before issuance.
Start with your supplier quotation or contract, amount, currency and deadline. Sensitive company and identity documents are requested privately.
